Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour 2 Days

Your 2 days Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga desert tour will start with pick up from your Marrakech hotel at 8 AM in a modern air-conditioned 4WD/Minibus, we travel over the Atlas Mountains range and descend into the Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive kasbah with buildings made of adobe that has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Then, we continue our road through the African Hollywood & the grand door of the Sahara; Ouarzazate, to see the Taourirt kasbah.

The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove a beautiful place to contemplate countless palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area, we’ll stop for lunch. Then pass by Dades & Todra valleys, Touroug, Jorf to Merzouga where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across high sand dunes of Morocco Sahara Desert. Stay in a riad and ride a camel as the sunset across the sand dunes to reach our Erg Chebbi desert camp, where a delicious dinner with a cup of mint tea will be waiting for you with drums music in the middle of the Sahara desert. Overnight under a nomad tent.

Waking up early is a must-do to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you’ve seen at the top of a dune close to the camp, then we return to Merzouga on the camels and after breakfast & shower, from here we’ll start our last day to Fez through the Tafilalet palm grove, you’ll see thousands of palm trees along the 20km of road. Here we will make a stops to enjoy magnificent views of the Ziz valley gorges and the town of Aoufous, continue to Midelt for lunch, and rest for a while. Later, we continue our way through the Cedarwoods where we’ll see the wild monkeys, we’ll stop at Ifrane the little Switzerland of Morocco. Late afternoon arrival to Fes, drop you off at your accommodation and ends of our Marrakech desert trip 2 Day Tour.
