8 Days Tour From Casablanca

We will pick you from your accommodation or airport starting our 8 days Morocco tour from Casablanca heading to Fes through Hassan Mosque (a breathtaking landmark of Casablanca with the tallest minaret at 210m) later, we continue to Rabat along the coastline, where we will visit Hassan Tower, next we drive to Fez via the Roman ruins of Volubilis.

After breakfast in your riad, you will meet your private local guide who will take you into the oldest medina in Morocco that dates back to the 9th century. You’ll explore the narrow winding cobblestone streets of the Medina, where donkeys are the main mode of transportation, your guided tour will include historical sites of the medina, including the University of Al Karaluine (the oldest university in the world started in 859 CE by a woman “Fatima Fihriya”), the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Nejjarine fountains, the famous (and odiferous) Tanneries, as well as the King’s Palace, the Jewish quarter where, if you like, you can visit a synagogue in the Mellah. You will stop for lunch along the way and return to your accommodation.

Depart our 8-day desert tour driving towards the Sahara desert via Ifrane a beautiful mountain village, known as the Swiss of Morocco, we’ll continue through the Cedar Forest where you could see some Barbary Apes. Lunch will be in Midelt then drive through the scenic Atlas Mountains and the Ziz valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way.

Arriving in Merzouga on the edge of the desert, and check into your riad/hotel.

A part of our Casablanca Desert tour will be around Erg Chebbi Dunes where nomads are still living, beginning by Khamlia (known as the home of dark skin people who were brought to Morocco as slaves decades ago), where you will learn about their music and their lifestyle. Later, we will visit some deserted mines and oasis of palm trees. Lunch will be a local one after we come back to the hotel for a rest before heading out on camels into the Sahara desert where you will become more than just tourists. You’ll spend the night in tents in a comfortable desert camp.
Dinner will be served under the stars .

In the morning it is recommended to wake up early to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life, before taking time to enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast, then you’ll ride your camels back to the village of Merzouga, we’ll drive through the Todra Gorges and Dades Valley.
Our first stop will be at the city of Erfoud, known as the Paradise of Geology. If you are interested, before heading out to the Todra Gorges and Todra Valley, where you can hike around old kasbahs and enjoy lunch in the heart of the Gorge, then travel to Dades Valley enjoying the panoramic views along the Todra Valley toward Boumalne Dades where you will spend the night with a fancy Guesthouse overlooking the Dades valley with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast, we continue our 8 days tour from Casablanca driving to Marrakech via the Dades Valley, with its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs, we’ll stop at Kaalat Magouna the center of Roses Valley, where you will have the option to visit the cooperative for the roses, continuing to Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa, where you can see the Taourirt kasbah and the movie studios.
The drive continues to Ait Ben Haddou kasbah a UNESCO Heritage site, where movies like the Gladiator, The Mummy, were filmed. Then we leave to Marrakech through the Tichka pass(2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, arriving at Marrakech in the evening and check into your accommodation.

After breakfast in the riad, you can start exploring Marrakech “red city”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Tower, the Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace.
After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon you will have some free time to wander by yourself the other parts of the city.
