7 Days Tour From Casablanca

We will meet you in your hotel/riad in Casablanca or in the airport, drive to Chefchaouen about 5 hours, most of it through the scenic Rif Mountains where will be plenty of photo opportunities. After lunch in Ouazzan, town where Muslims and Jews coexisted for centuries, we’ll continue to Chefchaouen, known as “the blue city”, and check into your riad.

The second day of our 7 Days Tour From Casablanca, you will have a full day to walk around and explore the beautiful town of Chefchaouen, the blue city or the blue pearl of Morocco. That in the late 15th century its population was boosted by a number of Jews and Muslims fleeing southern Spain and remained mostly untouched and isolated until the last century.

After breakfast in your riad, we’ll drive to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes, the first stop is Volubilis the site of the ancient Roman ruins dating to 2nd century BC, where you will see the most beautiful Mosaics and learn about the Roman occupation. After that, we travel to Meknes, one of the four Moroccan imperial cities, which was the capital during the 17th century. In this city, you will explore the Square entertained by storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the Sahrij Souani and the famous Gate of Bab Mansour, then we’ll head to Fes and overnight in riad/hotel.

Visit the oldest Medina with a local guide, the ancient city “Fes El Bali” and its souks. Your tour will include historical sites, including the Karouine mosque, the Medresa Attarine, the fountain in the square Nejjarine. Visit the new city “Fes El Jadid” and the Royal Palace and the potters quarter, then drive to one of the fortresses to experience an amazing view of the whole Medina of Fez. Overnight at the same riad.

Continuing our 7 Days Tour From Casablanca, today we will leave Fes towards Merzouga, en route you’ll explore the green Middle Atlas Mountains and visiting Ifran (the Switzerland of Morocco), afterward we will continue our drive to Midelt via the forest of the Cedar trees where you will have chance to feed the Barbary monkeys, then continue to take pictures for the beautiful Ziz valley of palm trees enclosed between the high Atlas mountains. In the afternoon we will arrive at Merzouga desert, you’ll be welcomed with mint tea and ride your camels for an authentic camel trek to see the sunset in the heart of Erg Chebbi dunes and spend a memorable night with millions of shiny stars, enjoy a delicious dinner, drums party and overnight in your private luxury tent with private bathroom and hot shower.

You have to get up early to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the great dune. Once you had breakfast, you will return with the camels or by 4×4 as you like, to the hotel to take a comforting shower. We will collect our luggage and continue to Rissani for a walk through the economic capital of southern Morocco, visiting its local market, full of colors, smells, and flavors.
Next, we will continue our desert excursion towards the Todra Gorge, a spectacular valley formed by impressive rock walls that reach 300 m in height. We will take a walk, then drive out the gorges enjoying the panoramic views along the Todra Valley toward Boumalne Dades where you will spend the night in a hotel with diner and breakfast.

After breakfast at your hotel, we keep driving our Casablanca day tours through the road of thousands of kasbahs and Berber villages to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, to visit Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas studios. Then, continue to Ait Ben Haddou Ksar, the largest Kasbah in Morocco where movies like “Game of Thrones”, “The Gladiator”, “The Jewel of the Nile” were filmed.
After the visit, we will resume our way to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains, and drop off at your accommodation or airport, where the 7 Days Tour From Casablanca ends.
